Terms of Service

By installing or using the CapFig add-on ("CapFig" or the "Add-on"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Add-on.

The Service

CapFig is a document-authoring add-on designed to assist users in managing and cross-referencing figures, tables, and related elements within documents. The functionality of the Add-on may change over time, and features may be added, modified, or removed at any time.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use CapFig only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You may not misuse the Add-on, attempt to disrupt its operation, or use it in a way that interferes with document integrity or availability.

Data Access and Email Collection

CapFig accesses only the minimum document content and user information necessary to provide its stated functionality. CapFig may collect and store a user’s email address for limited, service-related purposes, including:

• Account identification and access control
• Service-related communications
• Customer support and operational needs

CapFig does not sell, rent, or share user email addresses or personal information with third parties for marketing, advertising, or commercial purposes. Data is handled solely to operate and improve the Add-on.

Ownership of Content

You retain full ownership of your documents and content. CapFig does not claim ownership of, or rights to, user content.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Add-on is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Add-on will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CapFig and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, loss of documents, loss of profits, or work disruption, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Add-on, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying document content, maintaining backups, and determining whether the Add-on is suitable for your needs. CapFig does not replace editorial review or document management practices.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Add-on at any time, with or without notice. You may stop using the Add-on at any time by uninstalling it.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of CapFig after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
